As the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues, our number one priority at Sepsis Research FEAT remains the safety and wellbeing of our donors, volunteers and supporters. We are staying well informed of this rapidly changing crisis and are following the recommendations from Government, Public Health England, Public Health Scotland and the Institute of Fundraising.
Our fundraising income will be impacted by the pandemic, but we hope to put ourselves in the best position financially to weather this storm. With large scale events like the London Marathon, Kiltwalks and other sporting events being cancelled or postponed, our income from these types of activities will be affected. We will continue to seek support via corporate fundraising and trust applications, but we understand that companies will have other priorities and their own contingency planning due to the current crisis.
At Sepsis Research FEAT we are currently working hard on our own robust contingency plan including new fundraising ideas to allow you to continue to support us, and we will be launching a new fundraising pack in the next couple of weeks. It will undoubtably be difficult for us to deliver community talks, corporate presentations and attend cheque presentations but we are looking at alternative ways to continue to keep in touch with our fantastic supporters.
We are in the fortunate position that our fundraising and communications’ experts all have access to home working and therefore the charity will continue to conduct business us usual as much as possible during this time.
Thank you for your ongoing support and, if you are able, please consider making a financial donation to us via the donation page on our website.
Please look after yourselves and keep safe.
