We are hugely grateful to have received a donation of £11,500 raised in memory of Paul Fraser and Louise Swankie.
Relatives Chris, Stewart and Raymond and their family and friends organised a Sepsis Research Awareness and Fundraising Night at the Spinnaker Hotel, Gourock on 13th April – a quiz, an amazing auction with generously donated prizes, and home baking helped to generate the funds, as well as a grand finale head shaving for charity!
The family also had friends walking the Kiltwalk for Sepsis Research.
Chris, Stewart and Raymond said
“A huge thank you for all the support and contributions we have received in loving memory of Paul Fraser and Louise Swankie. The funds will go towards research and raising awareness of the symptoms of Sepsis. If we can help save one life it will be well worth it. No words can describe how we feel at this time, all the hard work has certainly paid off.”
Colin Graham, Chief Operating Officer of Sepsis Research welcomed the donation, saying
“This is the largest ever single donation which this charity has received and we are massively grateful to you for the time, commitment and effort which it has taken to raise this sum – it will help tremendously with our work helping support research to #StopSepsisNow”
